Yonkers, NY – November 23, 2011 – Shoppers across the tri-state area are still buzzing with excitement after the launch of Westchester’s Ridge Hill in October. A development of Forest City Ratner Companies, this 1.3-million-square-foot retail complex is the New York metropolitan area’s largest mixed-use outdoor shopping center.
Amid phenomenal feedback from the community, Westchester’s Ridge Hill recently added Gap, GapKids, Charming Charlie and Sur La Table – with resident chef Michael Proietti, who appeared on Food Network"s Chopped and Food Network Star – to its retail mix. Brazilian-style steakhouse Texas de Brazil and Guitar Center will be open for business before the year ends.
“We are very excited to be opening our first store in metropolitan New York and to be creating new jobs in the Westchester County area,” said Joan Jackwood, district manager of Charming Charlie, a Houston-based women"s fashion accessories company with locations in Albany and Rochester.
